Burns Wharf Theatre Players, Manitoulin Island, Ontario, summer 2010. Lord Chancellor, Lord Tolloler and Lord Mountararat trio from Gilbert and Sullivan's Iolanthe. Video production by www.robertmaxwell.ca
Hilarious - so well sung and choreographed - all the BurnsWharf videos of Iolanthe are so good, but I simply have to highlight Lord Tolloller - don't know the name of the gentleman who played him, though think he must be a relative of John Cleese! He is so funny and so talented, he has me in fits! Brilliant production - well done!
This is wonderful - excepting the D'Oyly Carte, far and away the best version of this song on youtube - synchronised and clear, and it can give the former a good run for it's money.
Amazing! We're going to be doing Iolanthe this school year. I would like to be one of the lords or Strephon, so your videos are extremely helpful. The full operetta with great singers, great quality, and great everything else.
