Rep. Jan Schakowski's town hall meeting on health care

http://www.dailyherald.com/story/?id=317992 - Roughly 1,300 people packed the auditorium Monday at Skokie's Niles West High School to shout, clap, boo and cheer their way through another public forum about the future of health care in the U.S. Monday's forum was hosted by U.S. Rep. Jan Schakowsky, a Democrat and supporter of President Barack Obama's health care reform plan. Schakowsky clearly enjoyed robust support in the room, but opponents made themselves heard as well.

If this is in Jan Shakowsky's district, it is within Cook County, which has Stroger Hospital which is already a socialized hospital in Chicago. Why do they want it nationalized? The african american lady in this video says that she hasn't been to Stroger Hospital in years? I've never been charged for an exam over there and my 10 vials of medication cost $10 a month for my heart medicine. Also, when I have an appointment with a doctor, I have to wait 10 hours.

take away these teabaggers health care and watch them squirm. how pathetic do you have to be to want to deny people a doctor or medicine because they can't afford it? or because a private insurance company decided their profit margin was more important than a human life?

i personally know three staunch conservatives who died because their private insurance was inadequate. it's insane the way these people think.
