"The Hunt" was produced by Nico Elgstrand, who managed to put an authentic 70s mark on the record. The guitars roar, the rhythm front around the new drummer
Ludwig (Spiritual Beggars and others) grooves as hell and JB outgrows himself as far as the vocals are concerned. Thus, the trio has created a phenomenal and impressive heavy metal opus!

    When a band gets famous they have to pay the price of having idiots judging them for their songs and sound. That's what happened with THE MIGHTY NORTHERN TRUE METAL BAND GRAND MAGUS. If someone doesn't like Grand Magus then simply don't listen to this band. You might end up with a True Heavy Metal overdose

    Well, this Album is quite nice and like it a lot, although Monument was just freaking awesome. I hope their next album will more be like Monument, we can just give them our feedback and hope that they will do what we want.
