This is my 1925-1935 Westinghouse fan with Micarta blades. I've decided to use this fan in its optional "wall-mount" mode, in an effort to cool off my living room.

  • Is this the same fan you had in this video: watch?v=j4EnYvcFkAo ? If so, I'm glad you got her running quiet now. In that first video, she had a TERRIBLE start up sound.

  • @LNERMallard Yes, same fan; unfortunately, the bronze bearings are SHOT, I just use this as a decorative piece now.

  • very nice fan that is of westinghouses master aire line (made in the late 30's till the early 40's) thises fans were the level inbetween the standard and power aire

  • nice fans! i wish i could get away with only fans. in memphis we need air conditioning and lots of fans, too. it is 97 degrees today. oh well, enjoy those great fans!

  • I will have to try a wall mount of one of my fans sometime.

    It looks like a 16" to me.
