Textbook Apparatus Spotting!! Great job Brother Engineers (and even Chief's Drivers) Engines, leave room for the arriving Trucks. Professional drivers all, no need to upset ourselves over the civilian vehicles, we know where the corners of our rigs are...and that we can adapt and overcome anything! Love that the Chiefs of this Dept (Seattle) set such a good example of not clogging the streets with their staff cars (SUV's). Outstanding example of proper fire apparatus positioning.

i live in seattle area and people do not know how to drive here. I also volunteer for a very small department up east and many times i just wanted to get out of the rig and tell them that i hope they'll have an emergency soon and some idiot wont pull over when we on our way to help them.

@pcfd20 there is one more way a dep can ram a car ,van , police car or any thing if they park in front of the bay door i and one other almost had to do that at my old dep witch im no longer with do to blowing out my back
p.s it was a cheff's car at that the one time and the other time it was a cop car funnyies thing ever seeing a cop run to move his car when a a pumpper is about to more it for him and yes its about 3 to 4hr's of papper work
