I was meant to be in this ident but on the day I tried to do a wheelie and got my cape caught in the back wheel of the bike. Slightly embarrassing, but they removed me in post production and none of my friends or family know about it.
That wasn't the worse thing that happened that day though, Some guy also did a streak!

go to BBC One Website and click on channel trailers and click on Cape,
Its not normal because it plays 2 times without BBC One Logo and then another time with the BBC One Logo
-
full version no announcer.

Using live action films as TV idents are also being used in the Philippines since the turn of the millennium. However, ours are not as sophisticated as this one, even we cast celebrities.

I personally prefer the older idents from the 90's or 80's that were just CGI. Nearly every ident on tv now are live action films rather than simple animated logos, and when they first appear on screen it's hard to tell whether they are trailers for programmes, or idents. However, at least the designers had the BBC globe in mind when they created this set of idents.
I am the seventh green blob of a cyclist from the front, it was fun to be part of it that day, took several takes to get us all going round at the right speed and distance from each other

The best idents, I find, always tend to be the ones that don't feature people as a primary focus, so for recent ones on BBC1 the Forest and Space ones have been good, but the one with people opening windows sucked because it you were left with lingering shots of people's faces.
ITV's current lot of mainly CGI-based ones avoid making people the primary focus and come off a lot better for it, with C4's even better. Please bear that in mind, TMF, as we have to look at these things every day!
