In the mid-1970's two pretty looney guys had their own syndicated TV comedy series. Lohman & Barkley were pretty popular and drew some interesting guests, who participated in some pretty goofy presentations. Here Gisele MacKenzie talks about perfect pitch and tells a wonderfully funny story about Jack Benny, then reveals that both her children have the measles, which lends itself to the crazy show's story line. To top it all, guest comic Gary Muledeer is depressed because he thinks his comedy routine bombed...making for even more hysteria on the set where Gisele is to sing her song, the upbeat Carpenters' hit "Sing." O brother, can TV get funny, loonier and goofier than this.

They were the best thing about living in L.A. in the 70's. I hope someone posts the Steve Allen appearance when he tried to play the piano.

Don't believe Al was host on Wonderama, can't find anything to indicate he was on it. L & B were such a great part of my mornings for years. Really sad they parted, and the way they split up. I went to one of their TV show tapings; they were so off the wall funny. Henry Mancini was a guest, he walked out and they handed him a bowling ball and asked him to hold it for them. For the next half hour, they totally ignored Mancini, who was sitting there with the bowling ball in his lap.
RIP guys.

this is Al Lohman, the same one that used to host the children's show, Wonderama in the early 60's.

Sorry, this is the only one I have. I taped it since Gisele MacKenzie was the guest...and she was only on the show once.
