In this year (2012) they are showing The Rockford Files on Danish TV. Gosh I love it. Watch one episode each night. Totally cool and relaxing 1970´s style.

@tokingbiker420 Had occasion to visit Malibu Beach where the trailer was parked. I forgot about Rockford because all of the woman were wearing string bikinis and little trianggles on their nipples! I was about 30 and I had to tie my shirt around my waist to hide something. I also went inside of the restaurant, and yeah the beach was nice. Vince was just up the road.

When Garner was in "The Rockford Files", he always had smart alec verbal comebacks in dialogues with others in the show.
One of the scenes I found as particularly funny was when he goofed up playing the "pea in the pod" con game on his mark, but the police caught him red-handed with the counterfeit check plates.

Garner was a stud as Rockford. Cool as all hell.

I always wanted to live on the beach, fish, date all the foxy women and be a private eye. Rockford was the best show ever and Garner an ex war hero, is one of the greatest Americans of all time.

@rockyraccoon1979 I agreed with you rockyraccoon1979.Its the best PI series so far.I love Rockford as down to earth PI who always did his job well but at the end he dont get paid..

The Rockford Files was the greatest detective show ever. The show as so far ahead of it's time. Even though the show's been off since 1980 it still makes shows like CSI look sick.
