Dr. Leonard Garrison, flute professor at the University of Idaho, performs and discusses Heinze's Etude in B-flat Minor for flute. This etude, page 50 in Selected Studies by Himie Voxman, is required audition material for the 2009 MENC All-Northwest Band and Orchestra.   • i have trouble with this song and im auditioning for all northwest gem state this 15th, i always go too fast on the sixteenth notes what do i do??

  • I started teaching myself the flute a few days ago, and these videos have got me completely addicted to it… I'm always practicing and experimenting in the hopes that someday I can have a beautiful tone like his!
