Broadway Piano Medley

Here's a medley of music from some of the newer shows to hit Broadway in the last decade or so. They are in chronological order from when the shows opened (w/a few mistakes along the way...I was too lazy to do a 3rd take).

From Rent: Seasons of Love, Another Day

From Wicked: Defying Gravity, The Wizard & I
(I still haven't actually seen Wicked, even though everyone I know has seen it like twice...did I mention I love medical school?)

From the Color Purple: Our Prayer, The Color Purple. This show is just incredible. If you haven't seen it, you are really missing out!

From Spring Awakening: Mama Who Bore Me, Touch Me, Don't Do Sadness/Blue Wind. This show is brand new, and definitely worth seeing. Just don't bring the kids...although, on second thought...

Thanks again everyone! And JB, I actually don't have perfect pitch at all - I do have relative pitch, which I developed over a long time with a lot of practice. Combine that with a really good musical memory and the result is that I can play pretty much any song that I can "hear" in my head (just like anyone gets songs stuck in their head). Glad to hear I inspired you - keep on practicing!
