  • @71259mark: Thanks for your kind comment. This song is the encore piece of that concert. We got very tight schedule to work with Bob Chilcott at that time because he is guest conductor and just came to Taiwan in one week before the concert, so we only rehearsal two or three times of this beautiful song.....

  • woah

i think if they got the song memorized the interpretation of the song would rise a whole new level

and the tenor's solo tone was so bright

he should of swallowed his sound a bit in order for a better blend with the background

the women were beautifully blended and the dynamic contransts were awesome though

  • It's the encore piece of this concert, we don't have too much time to rehearsal, that'w why we can't memorized:)

  • I sang this on a course with Bob Chilcott in 2003 and have never forgotten it. So haunting and beautiful. He needs to do a choral arrangement of Billy Joel's 'Goodnight My Angel' STAT!!

  • I hope Mr Joel has heard this wonderful rendition. Beautiful.

  • lovely

  • I'm singing this this semester! It's such a deep statement, and you guys do this so well! Nice solo very warm lyric voice! Thanks for this!

  • This gave me chills! I assume that most are English as a second language speakers and in that aspect this is GREAT!

There's always room for improvement, but this is well done.

  • Awesome layers throughout the song. It gave me chills!

  • @bytherulebook I performed this piece once, and from what I remember the solo is intended for baritone. That may explain why the tone may not "fit."

  • @bytherulebook I would never "swallow" a sound. I might connect it or make more space etc... and dig a little bit deeper on high notes.

  • Dear conductor, its amazing how your mouth is longer than the actual singers.

  • Dear conductor, nice face :)
