On Friday, May 27, 2011, and more than two months after the accident that left her severely injured, Amanda Younkin Franklin passed away, leaving behind her beloved husband, Kyle, brother Matt Younkin, family, and friends. This video is a tribute from an air show fan, capturing the emotions felt upon hearing the news of Amanda's passing. Special thanks to Mike Lynaugh for contributing his amazing photography of "Pirated Skies" from the 2010 Dayton air show. Other still photos were taken from the Frankin's Flying Circus Facebook page. The video content is from my only time seeing Pirated Skies, at the 2010 Great Minnesota Air Show. The music is Robert Etolls' "Immortal Splendor". Thanks for watching, and please pray for Kyle and all of Amanda's family as they deal with their unimaginable loss.

i just learned of amanda's passing last night, i saw them perform 3 times in the last cpl years, rip amanda. this was sad sad news to me.

I can't begin to imagine how hard it was on Kyle to let Amanda go. God Speed Amanda. God Bless you Kyle.
