I really, really, really want to become a filmmaker. In a way I am in the same boat as Sly. SO BY GOD, I'LL TRY AND TRY AND TRY!!!!! MY NAME IS MARIO AND ONE DAY I'LL DIRECT, WRITE, STAR, A MOVIE!!!! This gives me hope, anyone can do it if they work hard! Anyone! You just have to want it and I WANT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that Stallone is one of the most driven souls on the planet. Extremely talented and quite humble as well. He deserves all of his wealth because I really think he earned everything he has. Great story and great man. Thanks for posting!

You clearly don't know what true belief is. If you believe in something truly, you don't have to sell for the first offer. He had a vision and knew it would succeed. That's why he did what he did. Also, perhaps he wrote it in 20 hours, but re-read, made slight changes over 3 days!?
