Following in the footsteps of the early propaganda cartoons of Disney, Fleischer, and Chuck Jones, this original, fully-animated look at the underbelly of Bush's economy juxtaposes a depression-era style with modern-day political rhetoric.

Originally a "Best Animation" finalist in MoveOn.org's "Bush in 30 Seconds" contest, the commercial spot has been expanded to a seven minute short cartoon that tells the rest of the story of Melvin McBean and his family's struggle to make ends meet in Bush's economy.

  • Time to change all that shit, 2010, 2012, 2014

    Vote them all out

We dont really dont know whos corrupted, just get all new

We need all new people, not career politicians concerned with reelection.

    WE NEED TERM LIMITS

    8 years for congress

    12 years for senators

    No exceptions

    No comebacks

  • "I don't think Obama can fix the ever collapsing dollar." I agree. Everyone has pumped him up to be Mr. Superman/Fix it but we shall see in the coming months. I am not an Obama hater but I am also not a typical honeymoon-eyed voter. And on Iran, I am fairly certain something is going to pop off with them. Sad but the only change I am seeing so far is the reduction of troops in Iraq (so that they can be sent to Iran and possibly Pakistan)

  • @cobrachoppergirl Correct, sad, our young receive no marketable skills in this compulsary education system.

  • Go to Scandinavia or Germany to get a job... Could be an appropriate finale!

  • I voted bush in 2004 and mccain in 2008 and ill vote palin 2012

  • I love it. A cartoon to go with the big screen movies being pumped out by the corporate media. I've posted it on my blog, on Suzie-Q's,, on Facebook, and Tweeted several times. I know the MSM is a serious issue, but sometimes I can't help laughing at Gland Beck and going into hysterics at the crying boner...G%

  • 1:30 - Thats millions of Americans right now, working at McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's, Checkers, Sonics, Taco Bell, KFC, and other burger franchises all over America in a country with a political system they are totally disenfranchised from. Had no say so whatsoever in voting to go to school for 12 years as slaves, only to graduate wth no useful skills at all, to become minimum wage economic slaves.

  • @yakovlev3a Why even try and save the dollar, its worthless and always have been, there's never been anything to back it up. Its been a scam all along by a corrupt as hell government. A pyramid scheme. Then maybe inally we can get rid of this 200 year old corrupt US government founded by a bunch of dead old men. No women, indians, women, or children had any say so in forming this country, it was all done by a bunch of traitors, slavers, and seditionists.

  • re elect prezident whistle ass!

  • @19flipped So what's stopping you? This animator took the time to create this and post it. All you've done is bitch about it.

    Talk about being a pussy.

  • The moral of the story is this: Don't let the asshole republicans have the congress back in November!!!
