  • #1 reason to own a Cruiser is reliability (longevity) -- in places where you NEED a 4X4, you're probably not going to be near a service-station, so driving a Ford, Chevy, Jeep, Hummer or Land Rover (and the like) isn't a good idea (unless you can tow a spare ... for parts).

I think the 2008 FJ2000 looks awful though.

  • i love my cruiser. LOVE IT!

  • I think LC is the best in his class

  • Sweet! my 1973 Land cruiser Fj40 (Land crusher) is worth it's weight in gold..... that means it's worth $64,000!!!

  • you americans are idiots you dont like the awesome diesel V6 and V8 engines. they are cheaper and better suited to the vehicles character.

  • Well, the reality is , people don't care about quality, people want flashy , bling bling, or whatever the tv or reality show are showing to them , as long they feel compared to a tv star ....

  • they go for about 150,000 here in the Caribbean... sucks that Americans can get 2 for the price we pay for one. We get the more torquey V8 diesel engine though.

Incidentally what the review says about the looks is right. The Range Rover Sport TDV8 goes for about the same money. The Rovers have proved to be way more popular. Its mostly the government agencies and embassies that buy the LC

  • @1ohtaf1 both! The Prado is a smaller Land Cruiser model and is particularly popular in urban and 3rd world areas where roads and parking spaces aren't as wide. Just as Range Rover has the full blown model, and the smaller more nimble Sport model, so does Toyota with the full sized Land Cruiser V8 and the smaller Prado

  • it costs around $200,000 in india

  • This vehicle is designed for Russian and Middle Eastern oil barons. I've only seen one 2010 LC in the Silicon Valley tooling through downtown Los Altos...Dot com millionaires drive Priuses. I drive a FJZ 80!

  • they dont sell the prado in america

  • @1ohtaf1 I believe prado is the land cruiser 120 . not sure thow . the one in the video is the land cruiser 200 . that I'm sure .
