  • Thanks meandrousart, the green on green was my doing ; ) WE liked the first smoothie, but blended kale can be pretty intense for some beginners.

  • luv the music relaxing!!

  • Owen is so cute!

  • hahaha katie couric came to mind with her rudeness. She did that with Alissa Cohen.

  • WOW I haven't seen a Vita mix like that in 30 years, they must really make them good, yours is a model 3600, and I bought a 5200 three years ago, I hope mine lasts as long as yours.

Thios a nice video, I didn't like your other one. :) Good health to you

  • Ayurveda states a number of rules in the mixing of foods. ie food combining.

Bananas should be eaten alone and not mixed with other foods. it also says that one must not drink after having eaten a banana for at least an hour.

your body's intelligence is taking over and giving you the warnings.

  • I'm saddened at the lose of Oscar and hope you are finding comfort among friends and family...Pat

  • To add creaminess without using bananas, add avocado. To add sweetness without bananas, try adding a date or two. Pears are awesome as well.

    Very cute video BTW :)

  • heartburn? That's unusual. Are you eating ripe bananas? They should have little brown freckles all over when they are ripe. When I am out of bananas, I love mangos. If you can't get mangos, use any fruit you can. Papaya has enzymes in it that help with digestion. Durian is super creamy too, if you can get it, and avocado is also nice.Peaches or any sweet, seasonal fruit works. I hope you feel better. :)

  • Can anyone reply to my comment here or email me and tell me what I can substitute for bannanas in my green smoothie? The bannans give it a nice sweet taste and creamy consistancy-however, I have found bannanas give me heartburn. Any advice?
