  • While it is true that there is no such thing as "special bonsai seeds", it is NOT true that any species can become bonsai. Not all species can withstand root pruning and thus cannot become bonsai. Your misinformation is rather annoying.

  • @SanRafaelSwell Yes, you're right that not every single species is suited for bonsai, but most can adapt. I've edited the annotation.

  • The citrus seeds do not come back as the parent plant! It comes back as the old rootstock with big THORNS!

I am wondering how you plan to keep the sea grapes warm up there?

  • @BigbunnySSS Yes, but the lemon might still make an interesting bonsai tree, even with the thorns and sour undeveloped fruit.

Some of the seeds are tangerine seeds, they are polyembryonic and I have heard they are true-to-type and grow fruit.

What seagrapes? There were no seagrapes in this video. I put tropical plants inside to keep them warm in winter.

  • @berobinson82 lol. The branch I had was just to small to turn into a fully grown apex. I just couldn't wait that long.

I'm also looking forward to seeing what I will do in spring. I'll have to start examining the plant now, so I will have a good plan for warmer months.

  • @wolfmeditation you're breaking my heart. I was following your lead with a similar juniper. wired it vertically and was prepared to wait with ya. I look forward to that video in the spring.

  • Ok it late for me 2:30 in morning. It was gmail and I through it away. It talked about being in Ft Myers and I get a lot of gmails. Remember about the sea grape and did not understand how you were going to give it the heat and humidy to live. Bed time

  • @berobinson82 It is the same juniper. After a while I realized the apex would take too long to grow from a single branch, so I wired the branch back down and decided I'll try to style it a bit differently in spring.

  • is that the same procumbens that had an apex wired vertically earlier this year? or do you have an almost identical plant?
