Bellamy Brothers- You Ain't Just Whistlin' Dixie

Loved this song since I was a kid. My grandma lives in the southern part of Mississippi, and this song always makes me think of her. Tried to find pictures that give a true feeling of life in the south.

I have always loved this song. When I was in college 1982-1983, I had a speech class where we had to bring something in that we thought represented us and tell why. I played this song in my speech. Nothing says it better!

I am a Californian native living in Tidewater Virginia. My wife (a redneck girl) and I just returned from a trip to Dublin. Her longtime family pastor (Church of God!) is a resident of the Veterans Retirement Home located there.
