These are the shoot'em ups I beat between SEP-07 and FEB-08. It's a nice compilation that encompasses the Mega Drive, the Sega Saturn and the Sega Dreamcast. Yes, I know that there are some stinkers here, but hey - they deserve to be beaten as well!

Featured games:
- Hellfire (Mega Drive)
- Bio-Hazard Battle (Mega Drive)
- Bio-Ship Paladin (Mega Drive)
- Master of Weapon (Mega Drive)
- Burning Force (Mega Drive)
- Arrow Flash (Mega Drive)
- Twinkle Tale (Mega Drive)
- Divine Sealing (Mega Drive)
- Gun Frontier (Saturn)
- Thunder Force V (Saturn)
- Giga Wing (Dreamcast)

I decided to keep their original audio. The video doesn't make the games any justice though...
Enjoy!

  • TF V & twinkle tale are amazing!

but that gun frontier, wich look very interesting, is it really good?

  • @ryzmaker11 Hey there, glad to see people are still watching these old compilations!

Gun Frontier is fun, not top-tier stuff but fun. The setting is nice and some of the music is really good.

  • @KollisionBR oh, & thanx for the answer!

as i search some shooters for my fucking sweet saturn, i've noticed these following titles that i still not have & wich seems interesting : blast wind, gunbird, gun frontier, & metal black.

you say the music in gun frontier is good, an important point for me!

what do you think of these others titles? is the saturn gunbird port is good?

  • @ryzmaker11 The ultra-expensive Blast Wind is the only Technosoft vert I know of, seems fun but I've yet to play it. Gunbird on the Saturn is sweet, better than the PS1 version. Metal Black is weird, cheaply hard and at one time was supposed to be Darius III (music isn't that good in it IMO). Gun Frontier is indeed a strong influence in Battle Garegga, you can see from some of the "round" explosions.

As for obscure titles, I'm about to add another one to the blog, stay tuned. :)

  • Whats the English name of the game shown after Bio Hazard Battle???

  • That's Bio-Ship Paladin.

Tha name defaults to English if you play the game on a Sega Genesis. At the time I made this recording I used a Japanese Mega Drive.

  • @KollisionBR i'll take BW only if i find it at a nice price... *hopes*

Metal Black = Darius III? interresting; i like so much Darius saga (i currently play Darius II), so this is another good point. & weird? that sounds good... ¤_¤

nice to ear that Gunbird is better on Saturn, i'll buy it soon!

thanx M8, & i'll check your blog next days. ;-)

  • @KollisionBR i've also had a look on your reviews @ your (old?) blog, the sol-deace one for example; i like people that not necessarily talk only about the obvious hits, but also about some obscurs titles ;-)

about gun frontier, some people says that for some reasons he has inspired battle garegga, maybe the visual part...

  • Nice upload. Some great footage in there. Bio-Hazard Battle looks like a must have.

Reminds me of PSYCHOSIS for the TG-16.

  • Twinkle tale looks interest

  • i beat biohazard like 5 times. hard as fuck!

i grew up on that game man. that holds alot of my childhood
