  • I'm 15 and i was doing WR drills in football and i broke part of my knee in three places so i now have five screws in my knee .Also my ligament they straighten my legs out poped of the bone i have had surgery already i was told not to put persure on it until i see the doctor and he sends me to PT but do you think i should do the 1 step in bending it . please respond

  • @bleopaul96 - Yes, you can start the bending exercise in step #1. Do NOT go too far n slowly working on bending it a little more and more each day. The sooner you start the rehab on your own, the faster you will heal because there is a lot less scar tissue. The doctors n PT's are all too conservative in my opinion n they don't realize that u naturally have a higher pain tolerance cuz u are an athlete. U are young, your body will heal in half the time as someone in their 30's, 40's or 50's.

  • Thanks for the valuable tips, Tai. I just had complete bi-lateral knee replacement surgery (Jan. 12, 2011), and soon will begin some "prescribed" outpatient PT. It's good to know a couple of basic exercises that I can do on my own in the gym that will help in rehabbing my knees. Keep up the good work, Tai.

  • I just have my ligament surgery 2 weeks ago, I am following the exercises from my surgeon which are pulling my injured leg up and down lying upwards and aside, bending my knee as you said but I do it lying on a bed. It had been 2 weeks and I can start walking without the crutches but I'm wondering if it's too soon to do that?? Moreover, the surgeon said that I have to stick with those exercise till the next 2 weeks until any further diagnoses could be made.

  • i check your helpful video ! and i subscribe!even i have note !if you need more views change your video Tags ! .. and thanks for sharing

  • Stick with a License Physical Therapist. This guy is a personal trainer and has no background in Orthopedica Physical Therapy. His assuptions about Physical Therapy are misguiding!

  • You should stick to personal training. These videos are sooo generic and will most likely hurt anyone who attempts to follow them because you prescribe exercises with no understanding of the persons specific injury type. It would benefit you to work with therapists after rehab is complete, not try to act like you know more than them. Add me to the "dislike" category for the videos, sorry but not a fan of this type of negativity towards health professionals

  • @personaltrainertai -OK thanks. trust me for the next couple weeks i will watch the videos and ask more questions as i go on with the process because my dream is football so the more tips and the faster i can get 2 100percent the better.thanks for responding
