Please look up No Kill Advocacy Center and No Kill Blog

If most kittens born are from feral/stray cats then why the heck are the national animal organizations not aggresively supporting TNR and the rest of Winograd's programs to make us a no kill nation? The No Kill Winograd promotes has nothing to do with hoarding, warehousing, rejecting animals--like the HSUS or PETA want you to believe. His support for No Kill shelters are open admission that accept all animals AND save all savable animals.

Nathan your book Redemption has inspired me to be a voice to stop the killing in animal "shelters".I do not support the HSUS or, unfortunately, even PETA because they are trying to continue the killing. I didn't quite "get it"--the No Kill philosophy--until I read your book. It is time animal lovers across the globe stand up and support the 10 live saving programs that are in your book.

More people need to read his book and stop believing all the AR and PETA lies about how they 'have to kill animals'.

They DO NOT have to kill! There is a better way!

We rescued a tux cat from the Hilton Head shelter, a "no kill" shelter. He's a great puddey tat. One bit of advice: DO NOT buy Pounce treats for your cat, flavored with catnip. I call it "kitty krack." All he cares about now is that "drug." I'm getting him off that stuff. All he cares about is his next fix. No more. Puddey hangs around the kitchen, waiting for the next dose. People, don't buy the stuff. He'll be back to normal in a couple weeks. He'll have to do without. Just say no!

BTW, our cat was found near Sun City HH, and ended up at the HHI shelter. They keep their cats and dogs as long as they live or are adopted. Dad named him "Riley," as in "The life of Riley." He's a spoiled brat, that cat. Intellegent, purrs like a motor, loves to be loved. I love my puddey tat. Hands up for no kill. HHI is well run, they care. What would PETA do? Nothing like the real lovers of animals, which is, to maintain them, no matter if feral or not. Three cheers for HHI animal shelter!

I LOVE Nathan!! I used to be in favor of killing feral cats, and had the AUDACITY of calling myself a cat lover. Now I really understand how feral cats fit into the ecosystem and how we can manage them without killing them. Thank you Nathan!!!

Nope - not only is he IN FAVOR of finding homes for handicapped animals, he is an advocate for keeping them alive and finding homes for them.

He's had great success in adopting out handicapped animals. I have not heard or read of him saying that everyone should have a pet.

Nathan Winograd does not advocate "maintaining animals that pose a public danger." The vast majority of animals in shelters don't.
