I WILL LOOK UP - Original Song - Worship Team Version

Here's the same song which I wrote and played on another video, but played by the Praise Band at my church (I'm on keyboard and singing). My bandmates are great friends and brethren in Christ.

Psalm 5 says:
"Give ear to my words, O LORD, Consider my meditation.
Give heed to the voice of my cry, My King and my God,
For to You I will pray.
My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD;
In the morning I will direct it to You, And I will look up.
For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness,
Nor shall evil dwell with You.
The boastful shall not stand in Your sight;
You hate all workers of iniquity.
You shall destroy those who speak falsehood;
The LORD abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man.
But as for me, I will come into Your house in the multitude of Your mercy; In fear of You I will worship toward Your holy temple.
Lead me, O LORD, in Your righteousness because of my enemies; Make Your way straight before my face.
For there is no faithfulness in their mouth;
Their inward part is destruction; Their throat is an open tomb;
They flatter with their tongue.

God loves the righteous, and He hates the workers of iniquity. It's that simple.

And since we've all broken his commands at some point (check the 10 Commandments - you know it's true), we fall short of His standard for righteousness, which is perfection. And so we need redemption. This is why the Son of God, Jesus Christ, died. His death satisfied God's righteous judgment for your sin. You must repent (change your mind about your sin - acknowledge it, humble yourself and realize that you face God judgment) and put all of your faith in Christ Jesus. Then, He will lead you in His righteousness and make His way straight before your face.

one thing i would be careful is the devil is also in the music. Not all songs with Jesus is of God, an entertainment sprirt is whats killing churches today.

I don't disagree with all of that, and I don't think music is the only area where an "entertainment spirit" is evident either. I hope you're speaking generally and not applying your thoughts to this church though. We are very careful to utilize music that stirs up praises to God. Observe the few members of the congregation you can see in this video - they are not being entertained. Check out my other videos too. Thanks for you comment.

If a previous poster was inferring that a spirit of entertainment is here, that would sure seem like a perversion of what I'm feeling, and I'm a seasoned minister with a prophetic annointing. It's a dangerous thing to criticize a worshipper. God doesn't like it. Thank you!

yah i am speaking genrally, i wouldn't never talk about something i don't know if God is using. Entaring sprits you can tell by giving them the word test. Now there is nothing wrong with praiseing God thats what were here for. The devil has gotten in the churh and has choked the sprit. God Bless you brother
