poacfl.com POA patient Anthony Burruto was cut from his Dr. Phillips High School (Orlando, FL) baseball team. See this Orlando Sentinel article link for details. http://articles.orlandosentinel.com/2011-02-09/sports/os-diaz-amputee-pitcher.... A double amputee since birth, Anthony has always pushed his limits as is evident in this video. He can pitch a baseball scary fast.... and with prosthetic advancements like the XK9 sports knee he is wearing, is able to do it with amazing control. Poetry in motion.... • the way i see it he should be treated like everyone else trying out for the team.

the spot should be given to the best player, bottom line.

  • hey dude i heard your story a couple months ago at an amputee coallation and its total crap that you got cut. im a below the knee amputee and my high school coach who has been my coach since 6th grade has had me playing over kids who have 2 legs. hope i see you someday in the big leagues

  • he has great i mean GREAT mechanics for his situation... if he throws hard he should be able to play on his fucking baseball team

  • Nice.

  • I'd love to split a pizza and a pitcher of beer with this coach and give him a talking to about doing the right thing in life and thinking beyond wins and losses. This isn't the pros man, let the kid play.

  • Very amazing and brave young individual.

  • Very amazing!...it's a shame to hear that his high school didn't pick him up for the team, it's their loss.
