Flavio Briatore Ban Overturned

Flavio Briatore's lifetime ban has been overtuned by a French court. Pep and Max give their opinions on this - will this be the end of it (?) ... of course not!

cheats are cheats - no place for them in sport for me guys. What they did was the same to me as race fixing in horse racing - or taking a dive in boxing. Add piquet to the list too.

Briatore is cheating scum. Here in Italy he even was arrested a lot of time for fraud and for conning people. He is just a criminal and thief

I'm glad young Piquet took him down with him. I don't like Flavio. He was a dark shadow over Nelson. Now Nelson wasn't quick enough for F1, fair enough. But Flavio tried to bully him out.

schumacher also suffered a lot from briatore 's crap,he ordred to schumi to not stop in the pit lane and this is why he had a black flag in 1994 with 3 gp out.

never liked briatore in the first place, found him to be too arrogant and selfish. But besides that he almost killed piquet jr and mistreated him throughout his time with renault, i think he should get a lifetime ban just for that, . Also I think Alonso had something to do with it, ok so his teammate purposely crashed and he was the one that just happened to benefit the most and that he knew nothing about it at all, I dont think so the whole events points to alonso for sure

he cheated yes and dose deserve a ban and a fine. but saying that he could of hert someone and coused a sereous crash is stuped. the cars are designed to withsand a 180mph or somthing like that impact.( rob kubica crash in canada.) the cars are well able for a huge fast impact so the drivers are safe in the car. im not saying it isnt dangerous but there is no way he could couse a very nasty crash in that area of track. i dont like flavio but i would like to see him in the sport again.

Lifetime ban is fair. The guy always seems to be involved in those things, but the FIA always gave him the benefict of the doubt. This time there was no doubt about it: he cheated.

I agree that a lifetime ban was probably a little bit too harsh... but he needs some penalty. 5 years seems fair to me.

I am just glad all these issues lingering from 2009 are getting sorted in the off season so we can have a full year of actual racing!
