This series of videos shows break-in runs of my Czech made MP Jet 061BB. This is a twin ball race, schnuerle ported 1cc model diesel engine that has traditional metallurgy - an iron piston running in a steel liner. MP Jet I.C. engines were out of production for some years as the manufacturer concentrated on electric motors, but the twin ballrace version of the 061 has recently been re-introduced. My engine was obtained from Owen Engines in Wollongong, NSW.
This is a gentle break-in run with the compression backed off and the mixture deliberately set rich. The break-in fuel mix has extra castor oil, extra ether, and less kerosene than a normal model diesel fuel.
