@nolarae1929 Well said.The best voice in C & W .except for say Jim Reeves.Try to have a look at the DVD " Mart Robbins At Town Hall Party " ,recorded in 1959 in black & white.The sound & picture Quality aren't 100% but the material makes up for that.Especially the songs " Down Where The Trade Winds Blow " & " My Isle Of Broken Dreams " are magic but the rest are superb.

nolarae WHAT HIS BEAUTIFUL VOICE,GOD GIVEN TALENT. HE COULD SING ANY TYPE OF SONG.IF ONE EVER DOUBTS THERE IS AN ALMIGHTY GOD,THINK OF THE DIFFERENT VOICES [SOME ARE WONDERFUL SINGERS]NOT ME,CAN'T CARRY A NOTE] WHO ELSE CAN MAKE A VOICE LIKE THIS,JUST THE LORD.
