My Fancy Rats

This is a video of my fancy rats and their outdoor enclosures ( which they stay outside all day , its really good for them to get alot of fresh air instead of being cooped up inside the house)... I have 1 male , he is beige color with a white tummy he doesn't have a name yet but i will come up with one. The other two is my large white female ( caged with the male) i call her "snowflake" she is poofy,lol. and the last but not least "Whiskers" the mother rat of two that my male rat fathered, the two pinkies i assume are twins because of the exact colors , one is a boy "Diesel" , and the other is a girl "Whisker" like 'whiskers' her mother.the baby rats were born on friday the 21st of 2010....lol. Housey and Cookie (F's) they were born on March 28th of this year 2010, they are still very playful like silly rats . They were alittle bit bigger than the size of adult mice, but still growing, lol.

@txturtlelytiger well, long story short Housey was struck with a sudden illness when she reached around 6 months old , after i took her straight to the vet she had a emergency spay and she had 7 atopic fetuses in her peritoneal cavity, which in turn grew abcesses. she was treated and made it through the surgery but not through the night. her sister Lucky passed away unexpectedly a couple of months after her sisgters death.

i just got 2 new fancy rats thay r named nemose and oreo thay r awesomE!!!!!!

@asdajfbiaf thanks, my precious ones names are " Cookie (F) , Toto (F), Housey (F) , Lucky (F) , and Manny (M). Toto was young and Cookie to in this video , if the weather is good today i will get another video recorded as a update... take care.

@snowmancandle2 thanks, i have 2 new rat litters! one litter has 11 babies , and the other had 8 but 2 drowned along with another rat litter of 11 other babies and their parents in a tragedy storm that blew off their weather protection and flooded their 10gal with the 11 babies and their parents, but the other babies...

For any reptile haters out their those babies are food for my savannah, which he already ate.....i breed them for food and now only feeding my savannah once a week.

Im going to keep Whiksers -the mother- seperated from my other two rats until her babies are old enough to be without her i think at 25 days old they should be weaned by then definately, the white rat with my male should be ready to give birth because she has a tummy about to pop,lol, and snowflake it the one i like the most because she is sweet , she has never tried to bite me like the other male rat.... does anybody else think that the baby rat pinkies are twins??? give me name suggestions-Lol
