http://www.kenenglish.com - At 4:30 AM, runners began lining up for the 6:10 AM start. Among the 12,000 racers, there were 60 or so who would start at 6:05 AM. They were in wheelchairs and on handcycles. The Freedom Team, a group of Iraq veterans, is part of the Achilles Track Club, an inspirational group of competitors who led the charge, in the pouring rain. They finished in the sunshine, a showed me, and a lot of other people, what 'overcoming obstacles' really means. This video is dedicated to a couple of the competitors I met - Scott Rimmer, Scott Rigsby and Todd Philpott. Video and music mix by Ken English. Blogtalkradioguy.com. Go Rimbo!
