I finally got my feet into a pair of Evo running shoes made with Terra Plana's VivoBarefoot technology. I ditched the socks (a formality given the nature of the shoes) and rushed out for a 2 mile run. There's been a lot of hype surrounding these shoes so I was excited to finally test them out. Check out this video made immediately after my run.

  • @sharpanator Did you order it? Did you like it? Curious to find out! And if not, did you find another minimalist shoe that you feel good running in? If so, please share what brand it is. Thanks so much! --Bianca Jade

  • @Gieszkanne You make me BLUSH! I'm not sure "ordering me" will improve your heel strike though ;)

  • @sharpanator

I would rather order her! :)

  • @xfightcityx Hi there. The Evo is worth the price if you A) like the style and B) are looking for an eco minimalist run shoe that doubles as a comfy walking shoe. However if you like Vibram Five Finger shoes I'd check out the new Fila Skeletoes that are made to be all-weather resistant and prob cheaper than Vibram at $60. Hope this helps! --MizzFIT

  • thise shoes are sweet but are they worth the price? do your feet get sweaty in them? also how is the grip when running in something wet? my vibram five finger bikilas are starting to fall apart so i need some new shoes

  • @WilliamTheSilverBack Hello William! I didn't get injured at 30 minutes but I think it's great to share this warning because not everyone is a frequent runner like myself. So I'm glad that you have shared your thoughts here. At the same time, I don't want to scare people. As long as runners ease into their Evo shoes with short runs and gradually build up on distance, they'll be in fine shape! Thanks for your comment!
