Spinner baits should be tied directly to the lure on the fishing line, and this should be done with an improved fisherman's knot. Find out how to thread fishing line in a fisherman's knot with help from a commercial fisherman in this free video on fishing bait and equipment.

  • I thought I bought a dud when I clipped on the leader and blades wouldn't spin

  • thks

  • Thank you, ive been looking for a video to tell me how to do this.

  • k thx

  • @halabi97 If you dip it in before you sinch it down. I don't know but i think spit is better because its less runny.

  • ok i know but will water work

  • @halabi97 It decreases the friction and heat caused when you sinch the knot down. With less friction and heat, less chance of you damaging the line and a stronger knot.

  • that spinnerbait most bass couldnt get their mouth around lol

  • @halabi97 water isnt sticky like spit

  • do u have to spit how about water i never spit on my knots and they never brake
