"Our president likes to be on both sides at once.
...In Afghanistan, he wants to go but he wants to stay. He’s surging and withdrawing simultaneously. He’s leaving fewer troops than are needed for a counterinsurgency strategy and more troops than are needed for a counterterrorism strategy — and he seems to want both strategies at the same time. Our work is done but we have to still be there. Our work isn’t done but we can go." --Maureen Dowd, New York Times, June 26, 2011

"Fox News" is my favorite oxymoron!

I love the fact that Cavuto is now supplying the 'leftist' argument that was given before that he was so against when Bush was in power. It's partisan politics all over. Obama is right of course- the issue is Pakistan. Regardless of whether terrorist cells can pop up all over the place you can't led AQ's ideology and force spread into Pakistan or back into Afghanistan. The surge may not work, we'll see, but I think he's doing the right thing.

First they criticize Obama for being an anti-war, pacifist pussy - now they criticize him for being a warmonger - you just gotta love Fox News!

Professional liars and thieves. They lie about the time frame. They lie about the costs. If they say 40 billion, you can bet it will be 300 billion more. This warmongering will end us..
