Shooting some 8" steel targets I got from "Arntzen Targets". The plates are made out of AR500 & are 3/8". They come with a square hole cut in them. Alot of fun shooting at them! Mr. Arntzen recommended shooting no closer then 12 yards. He also recommended to buy some shephard hooks (you can buy at Walmart) that you hang plants for target stands. Which work excellent!!!

After polishing the feed ramp & chamber in ISSC M22 recommended by the company for feeding problems I tried some CCI AR Tactical .22 which are 1200fps 40 grain & worked flawlessly with the M22! I also tried some Remington Cyclone 40 grain .22 which also worked flawlessly except for a couple of FTF. The CCI seem to have alot more power & their copper plated bullets.

The CCI AR Tactical .22 are only 30fps slower the the CCI Mini Mags & if you get them on sale their $19.99 at Cabela's. $24.99 regular price for 375 rounds.

  • @guillette77 We're shooting .22lr at ar500 3/8" steel & the camera mic isn't picking up good. In spots you can hear some good hits.

  • Why so quiet?
