Katie, I just wanted to thank you for this song. I just graduated HS, and have gone off to college. This song really touched me, and it is much appreciated. And even from a male perspective, leaving is a very emotional experience. This song is so beautiful (as are you), and I am genuinely grateful for this song and the emotion behind it. Katie, I'm really not sure why your not a bigger star than you already are. You are an amazing singer, and your songs are great. Bigger things are sure to happen for you in the future no doubt. Look at the artists it didn't happen to right away, for example Reba. She started in 1976, and didn't really emerge and get her 1st #1 til the 80's. Now she's in the Hall of Fame. One day I'm sure you'll be there with all the greats! Keep the great music coming!

I wrote you a comment before I left for boot camp 3 months ago and told you that I listened to this song a lot because it applied to my situation. Well, I graduated three days ago and I just wanted to say thank you. Marine Corps boot camp is nowhere near easy and this song kept me going.
