Wow. I thought the video was sped up, but forgot how much faster the Norvill engines are compared to the reed-valve Black Widow.
Just as well. I would auger right into the ground at those speeds.

These guys fly close to each other doing figure 8's, but never complete the loop around each other which would tangle them up. If they do get tangled up, they have to fly the other direction to get untangled if possible. If they can't, they lose control and crash.

That's FAI Combat, also known as F2D Combat. Those are .15 size motors, flying around 100 mph on 52 foot lines.
