These are pictures from James Thurber's "A Thurber Carnival", most specifically "The Last Flower". It is a very compelling story and has a very universal theme. I set it to the Summer Overture from the movie "Requiem for a Dream" movie soundtrack. Hope you enjoy!

I wish they could have replayed this video as it appeared in the movie The War Between Men and Women. It was a brillant scene with Jack Lemmon. Please someone find it and get it on You Tube so others can enjoy. Also a lovely Marvin Hamlish score.

Hey, all! I'm sorry if I offended anyone by setting Thurber's work to this music. James Thurber was a talented man of his day and his work still rings true to this day and I did not mean to taint his work with my musical interpretation of this piece of work. That aside, I do hope you enjoy the video anyway and appreciate the work of this truly phenomenal man. I also edited the description to include the title of the song used in this video for those curious.
