Strange how he talks about the power & torque, but doesn't quote a single figure in the whole review. Any other make of bike and we'd be getting a long list of stats. With the Harley all we get is a lot of vague comments, to hide the fact that it would be outperformed by pretty much everything coming out of Japan and Europe.
Do the guys at HD even realise that it's the 21st century?

I have never imagined Harley as a burly, tough guy, industrial, lone-worf bike. Harley guys always seem to have money to be able to buy a 20,000 dollar bike and always seem to ride side-by-side in groups. No thanks, ill stick with my metric cruiser, it doesn't break down.

@Jeremybaland you could have easily shortened that by changing "If you buy a motorcycle to sound and look good and not for how it rides then a Harley is for you." to "if you're a douchebag then a Harley is for you."

I have owned every make and model. My 06 Street Glide was ok. Harley Davidson has become a status symbol vs a real motorcycle. Performance wise Harley is really lacking in all areas except looks and sound. If you buy a motorcycle to sound and look good and not for how it rides then a Harley is for you. Harley is not bad but doesn't perform like the competition.

Each to their own but to me there is nothing like the sound of a harley. Ive heard some of everything but the pure rumble that comes from a harley engine in my opinion is one of a kind. When a harley is coming down the street. I can tell. unlike many other bikes sound the same.
