This was great that they helped out here, but I'm really disappointed at the fact that they did nothing to help any place in alabama (256 people died) and my dad is a weatherman and requested them to come help one family with several kids and wouldn't come, I understand that they can't go everywhere but alabama was hit just as hard. But please don't think that i don't think that they should have gone to Joplin.

Its nice and all that they did that.... But did they really have to take crews off other peoples homes just so they can do a couple? My grandmothers house wasdelayed a month because they took people away from her house.

I grew up in missouri, although never lived within 50 miles of the city, but this tornado hit home still and I just had to be there for that! It was amazing!

Just Wish I could Find a Way to talk to Ty Pennington just for a sec , it would mean the world to me!!! and would love to find away to Joplin to help out somehow even being Disabled and Trying to get help from him myself In Bad Need of Help with a Toddler and another on the way this grandma needs all the help she can get Ty You See This Please Contact me Urgently Thank YOu Theresa Howard Grassy MO

So there are going to build a community tornado shelter as well? They talked about a community building on my local news. I wish all major cities would build at least a few tornado shelters depending on how big the area is.
