Yes, later Peter Stavros revealed to Angela that both Douglas and Jacqueline conspired against her by telling her the child had died and Jacqueline took him to Europe and raised him (Richard) as her own son. But at this time, Neither Richard nor Angela knew this.

wasn't it later revealed the Richard Channing was really Angela's child and that Jacqueline had kidnapped him away from Angela?

@3dartistguy Because Richard was Douglas Channing's (Angela's ex-husband's) illegitimate son; so now Angela knows who his mistress was.

The character Jacqueline Perrault was a great one. It pitted Angela against Jacqueline and made for some great scenes. Too bad FC writers loved killing off so many great characters. Lana was really good on this show. She was also the biggest guest star the show had and the most memorable. When they killed Jacqueline off they shoudl have brought her back as Chase's cousin Michael Ranson's Mother since Chase and Michael mothers were sisters, they could have made her Jacqueline's twin.

Jane Wyman a great star of Magnificent Obsession, Johnny Belinda, etc and Lana Turner the great star of Imitation of Life and Madame X etc were great on this show.
