The second he would have teleported Daigo would have been on him. Also whiffing throws is more dangerous than getting thrown. One whiffed throw against Daigo, and your eatting a meaty combo that will put you in the corner.

damn ryu is cheap. people who play ryu should never use hadokens because they're so cheap.
they should play ryu like a more close up character like zangief.

Well, maybe that's right, but I feel like he could have used it to get away from the pressure. Regardless, both have done a good job.

High level (even medium level) Dhalsim play uses very few teleports.

Don't get me wrong, I know what kind of a beast Iyo is, but his defense doesn't look that solid. He never teched any of the throws and never teleported once. *Takes the flame shield from ground*
