PEOPLE PEOPLE!!! This is "anybody can edit it" doesn't mean that you've got no choice and anybody can edit your page. IT MEANS IT'S EASY TO EDIT. No need to know any code. If wiki hasn't got more attention is because the average person can't use code. When the masses can do it easily, it becomes a hit... look at how easy it is to look for vids in youtube, or to make your page in myspace, etc.
OPEN UP YOUR EYES.

If you can edit a wiki without registering, anyone can edit the information. It would be so illogical to allow anyone to edit a page without any restrictions, because I could easily edit the "vagina" page to say "THIS IS SOMETHING THAT IS HAIRY~ THIS IS SOMETHING THAT IS BALD~ THIS IS SOMETHING THAT IS SCARY~ AND THIS IS WHAT IT'S CALLED~", which wouldn't tell you anything at all that could benifit you.
