60163 Tornado is a main-line steam locomotive built in Darlington, England, the first such locomotive built in the United Kingdom since Evening Star, the last steam locomotive built by British Railways, in 1960. so basically all the modern technology accounts to nothing when it comes to bad weather. Luckily there are back up locomotives avalaible! Ones which actually work in these conditions! Called steam trains.

it was a really good idea to use the steam that day. When the power failed! The Eurostar have been rescued and brought to London by train from Santa Claus
