  • Someone know what says before "I Got to make you mine

    We've got a little time"?

    Thnks!

  • "Pulses are beatin' in my heart

    "Pulses are runnin' wild

    "Got to make you mine

"But we got such a little while"

  • Never heard this version. Sounds way more like Jerry Lott's (the Phantom's) version. Awesome.

  • This was the only version I could obtain at the time! Now I have about 4 versions, not counting live

  • the original is actually on here, look that bad boy up.

  • I sure will! I absolutely adore the Cramps' taste in music, they turned me on to Link Wray and other forgotten greats. Thanks for the pointer!

  • this version is even more disturbing than the album....I LOVE IT! :DD

  • Sounds like it influenced Tex Rubinowitz..lol The Phantom - Love Me version that is...

  • Punk rock...the genre for meee :D (British punk rock imo is the best)

  • Ahh... American Punk. This is by far the best Cramps version. It's the rawest. That said, anyone who digs this tune should hear The Phantom... er.. Jerry... I mean... Marty Lott's alternate version of "Love Me" & check out his eerie ballad. I believe it's called "Whisper of Love." Lott is more proof that Punk Rock was born in the US Other examples of 1950's Punk Rock/Psychobilly include Gene Maltais, Joe Clay, Johnny Carroll and the list goes on & on. Sorry UK... the Pistols didn't launch shit!

  • so raw and radical. Who Started Psychobilly? Not all the bands that think they did that's for sure. The Cramps all time great

  • the best cramps version!

btw. that is the version from the "Voodoo Idol" 7" EP that was included on a repress LP from the Ohio Demos. On the "Voodoo Idol" EP there was never any info about the Date, or recording place. So where is your info from, that this is an Akron (Ohio) Demo outtake? (I don't think that you can call the Ohio demos “outtakes”, as they where not recorded for an official record)
