@MadSpazClub No one had to tell me, I've tried to run a DC current through pure, distilled water and it won't work. (Note: when I say distilled, I mean de-ionized as well. Ions are needed to conduct electricity in a solution.)
-
why does she sound like a man?
-
@MadSpazClub I'm a chemistry major, I've SEEN pure distilled water not conduct electricity. True distilled water has no salts/ions in it, and ions are necessary to carry a charge across water.
-
@PookyKBK I'm an electrical fitter mechanic, whoever told u distilled doesn't conduct is full of shit mate.

Where i live in brisbane we are actually behind a small mountain, Which cpvers most wind and storms as the mountain breaks up partly of the storm,
Even though our back yard was Struck by lighting in that storm,
We ARE O.K! XD ish... after 2 years... yeh... What ev's..
-
Although you are right, the winds from this storm were straight line winds (from a microburst), not a tornado.
-
the 7 news reporter should take her shoes off she was walking in the wet water lol :D
-
HOLY THAT IS 400Xs worse than it is in any other place i have been in in my entire life! So destructive. The clouds really can do some damage eh?
-
I know what your saying mate, I live in THE GAP and when the eye of that TORNADO hit our suburb it was unlike anything, anywhere in the world. Trees were being pulled out of the ground and dumped everywhere, neighbours rooves where landing in our house, windows were being smashed and the sound was UNBELIEVABLE!!. Def. nothing MINI about that
It wasn't a tornado that hit... it was a "microburst".

You think rain consists of distilled water? Especially when it's been through the roof and the ceilings it's not that clean anymore.
