I don't know about Sweden but overall that's a truthful observation, but it depends on your citizens, even though most of the problems are rooted towards corporate asswipes who contributed to most of the problems. I mean it's not going to work if you pay on a deficit which specifically includes the citizens being assholes; which in fact is the main reason why America is fucked because the people themselves are just as bad as corporate kleptocrats.

SWEDISH PRIDE.

We're not even run by the socialists anymore, but Swedish citizens take care of each other through our socialistic welfare system. Welfare is socialism. The ones who are able support the ones who are poor and keep them alive. We pay a lot of tax to get healthcare, political changes (remember, the people pay for the government [unlike in the US where corporations pay the politicians]), and a lot of times we even get money back.

We run our politicians. Corporations run America.

The real problem is that America has no desire to be sane. Very few people want to hear the truth because its hard to take. People would rather win and be wrong than lose and be right. Our morality has been demolished within every religion across the board. The greed that Capitalism spreads washed it away. Now we pretend that we are something that we are not.
