  • Dental implants are expensive. I paid over five thousand dollars for one implant and two crowns (tooth next to it had to be drilled down and fitted for a crown the same size). I do think I am getting ripped off, though. I didn't really feel any pain afterwards, either. The worst part of the procedure was when they drilled my normal tooth down, not the implant itself.

  • that is ONE hairy nose O_o

  • P.s. use to have an eating disorder might need about 5implants,what u pay??

  • Question..why does anesthesia no longer work at the dentist?? They even use the maximum am.allowed for one day..sometimes I have to put up with the pain.it KILLSSSSS

  • was that guy screaming from the pain?

  • You will not feel anything when they will do the procedure.

  • HOW MUCH? is the question. A LARGE number of americans don't have insurance.

  • So not good idea to watch this before you're having this surgery, it would just creep you out. It's actually not so bad - they're gonna do several anaesthetic shots and this will ensure you don't feel almost anything. It sure may hurt afterwards, even for several days, but it's tottaly worth it in long perspective! And also - I am not afraid of dentist anymore. Repairing cavity is nothing compared to this surgey ;)

  • You don't get put to sleep, although some places give it as an option. I had the surgery done in March, and I was just under nitrous oxide. Other than a slight pinch from the novocaine needle, I felt nothing and even fell asleep during the procedure. And believe me, I'm a WUSS when it comes to the dentist.
