This excerpt is from a 1967 TV special called the Glory of Spain. It was filmed at El Prado in Madrid, with Segovia not only as a performer but as the host.

Asturias (Leyenda) is from Isaac Albéniz's Suite Española.

The combination of the art masterpieces and a Spanish musical treasure is a great pairing.

  • @paradox95,

Sir, you're obviously not smart enough to comprehend the masterful playing of Segovia.

    Go away.

  • @RevolucionNr9 thats true. Rumours have it, he used the media by paying a lot of money for promotion, especially to MTV.

  • I wonder why Segovia got so famous, this is terrible !
