@spunkeee1 I agree. I would have prefered her or Chris to win. Melanie is just like everyone else, and it's the same stuff over and over. Chris and Rachel were unique, and fantastic singers!

Also, if you took 10 seconds from any performer in this competition and compared it to the end of this song she would win hands down. No one else can boast the tremendous vocal range that Rachel shows in the last word of this song alone. She reeks of pure talent.
Im not taking anything away from Melanie but America doesnt need another Whitney,Celine,Toni,Beyonce etc... We need another Etta,Aretha,Roberta,Gladys so we can remember what the hell music is all about.
