  • Hey, right now it's Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. that lead the champ in front of Scott Speed (good and young driver with a truck load of experience, watch him go)and Matt Carter and after Kimmel: What the hell happen to Kimmel? It's this the end of Kimmel domination?

  • At the end of 2007, Frank announced that he and his brother were going to start their own team. They did not secure financial backing for the entire year, and hence they had to park the car.

  • @racermac1988 And since 2009, they Ansell and Menard's on the car.

  • lol they said kentucky was goin to become a winston cup venue in 04, i laughed when it didnt become a cup race, but i am glad to see the sprint cup goin there in 2011

  • Depend of who? Kyle Petty will not dominate (but will be good at this level since he's "not this bad" at top level), but Tony Steward or Carl Edwards ;)

Now the question is: how the hell could Steward or Edwards will want to drive there?

  • I bet if a couple of Sprint Cup drivers ran a few ARCA races, they wouldn't dominate and win. Allgaier beat Logano at Talladega and beat Ragan at Toledo.

Cup drivers run the Pocono race all the time. ARCA regulars Stenhouse and Allgaier won the two Pocono races last year.

When Spitcup changed to COT, a lot of the old chasis' were sold off to ARCA teams at discount prices and the competition of ARCA last year showed what a great move that was for ARCA.

  • Frank ran the entire season. He acquired race-by-race sponsors most of the season. A Philadelphia root beer company sponsored his car out at New Jersey. Will Kimmel, 3rd generation Kimmel driver, will be racing car no. 44 at Daytona.

But Frank did manage to run the entire season to finish 2nd in points as a result of Justin Allgaier and Frank Kimmel's much publicized altercation at Toledo.

  • 4:35 Incredible move by Rowdy.

  • Rick Benjamin is awesome!

  • Good, good... I look the guy that was around Frank in the champ, I also think that the level in Arca is better then a couple of year ago: Carter have race in hotter procup, Speed well he have a truck load of experience with F1 in his CV, Stenhouse is a regular and come from midget and sprint car and Allgaier have a lot of race in dirt late models and Midget... I guess that too made something, but they need a guy just like Frank to learn fast, they simply get the best teacher on the track.

  • No, it's not the end of Frank....they split from the previous car owner and started their own operation. Let's call it a rebuilding season! He's 3rd in the point in 2008 and is holding his own - a lot better than most independants.

  • It's a bit bad for them... I mean, he's a good driver that could go in Nascar, He prove it when he get a 3rd place in Iroc so... I guest is good enough for the sprint cup but need a good car...
