@crd721 Well, then, I'm sorry, but you must have been asleep for those eight years, or something. It was down-right epidemic amongst the right. Over, and over again we heard that criticism of Bush's policies, his actions, criticism of the war, etc., constituted treason and/or anti-Americanism, because, in a time of war, it's your duty to, as Bill O'Reilly said, for example, "Shut-up!" Because, even reasonable, valid, criticism helps the enemy. It was EVERYWHERE man! EVERYWHERE!

@BloatedSensations The only time I ever heard anything about anyone being anti american, it was people on the left bitching. I hardly ever heard anyone say to a leftie "you are anti american. if you dont like bush" Were people called anti american for comparing Bush to Hitler, or saying kill bush or things like that? Yes. But normal person, regular protests (like a sign that simply says end the war or war kills) were not called anti american except by the craziest people on the right.

You couldn't get away from it! It was "TREASON!" this, and "ANTI-AMERICAN!" that - for pretty much a sold eight years. We were told, over and over, and over again, that we were criminals because our criticism was "helping the terrorists." Jesus, man! Where the hell were you?

@Tarn1968 Im not a right winger, im a centrist. I vote pretty much equally Republican and Democrat. Very few people actually called for the arrest of people who criticized Bush. People understand the importance of the First Amendment.
