@markdm166 I kinda agree with you... Emery was one of the better goal keepers we had (I'm a Sens fan too!) but I think how the managment dealt with him was wrong... They put all the problems in the press when they should have dealt with it in the dressing room.

i am a huge sens fan and have been since i was five... the ONE stupid thing i think ottawa did was let emery go.... he was the best goalie we ever had,,, tough as hell, and took us far in the playoffs

Goalies should be doing this more in the league. The NHL enforces those bullshit little crosschecking in front penalties all the time so D-Men can't push anyone out. What a shitty "New NHL" this is now. They hate anything that the sport was founded on. This incident reminds me of Billy Smith from the Islanders in the 80's. Good for Emery.
